Each shape is unique and hand-moulded. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAll pieces are finished with a glaze in broken white or a warm dark brown, almost black. As a third contrasting colour, Marie chose a bold Venetian red. The designer consciously chose these colours to create a mix \u0026amp; match of white with dark brown or red with dark brown. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eOn some plates, Marie painted two different, universal women’s faces. The emphasis is on the eyes – the mirrors of the soul – and the hands – tools to create.
